AmSteel-Blue is the latest development of HMPE fiber in a twelve-strand braided rope utilizing Parallay design with a proprietary urethane coating. This twelve-strand braided rope yields the maximum strength-to-weight ration and is stronger than wire rope constructions-- yet it floats. It has the best flex-fatique and wear resistance when compared to products made of HMPE or post-drawn HMPE fibers. Specific Gravity: .98 (floats) |
